You hear the early Springsteen influences all over these Hold Steady records. This is modern day rock and roll at its finest. I'm sure Dave Reinholdt (wherever you may be) has this ranked much higher.
Take a listen to "Chips Ahoy!" and "Southtown Girls" ...
