I've gone on record several times that I could not sit down and listen to Blueberry Boat all the way through if my life depended on it. But this record, and Bitter Tea are fantastic. I wish I were friends with Eleanor Friedberger, and I could listen to this on repeat for days. The band has been on hiatus for about three years as the two principal members work on their solo careers, and if they are done, thank goodness they left us a pair of masterpieces.
Take a listen to "Automatic Husband" and "Ex-Guru" ...
