No electric guitar. No percussion. No synthesizers. Matt Sharp decided to strip his first solo record down to basically vocals, acoustic guitar and piano. Not exactly what I was expecting from the original bass player of Weezer and the brainchild of The Rentals, but this is one of my essential rainy Saturday afternoon records. I gotta find this on vinyl.
