It took a long time, and a lot of patience, but Tom Waits has become one of my favorite artists. I would even argue to say that the only artist I listen to more these days is Elvis Costello. This album is a sonic masterpiece, many, many colors are demonstrated. The vocals aren't for everyone, but I've grown to really dig his vocal style. This is also one of my daughter's favorite records.
Take a listen to "Chicago" and "Raised Right Men" ...
