I discovered Modest Mouse reading a review in "The Onion" and talking to Todd Kemper. Became a fan shortly after, and when I heard they were getting SNL, it felt like a victory for good music. The Misses and I were out the night of the show, but I remember getting home around 11:45pm, and turning on the show right in the middle of this performance, and feeling a sense of pride. It felt like the first time I saw James play at Summerfest.
