I'm sure you know the story. Costello and the band start playing "Less Than Zero", and a couple of notes in, Elvis Costello stops the band and they play "Radio, Radio", which they were told specifically not to play. This threw the show's timing off, and legend has it that Lorne Michaels stood behind the camera, giving the finger to Costello during the whole performance.
