There is a lot of great music being released today. I'm very excited to purchase the new release from Elvis Costello and The Roots. It looks like Island have a new record out. But the recording I've spent the most time with thus far this morning is an EP called "Peaches" by a band called In the Valley Below. I did not catch their performance on Letterman in late August, but through the magic of the world wide interwebs, here it is .... performing the song "Peaches". And to all my Chicago friends, if you don't have plans on the 7th of October, they will be playing at the Metro. And check back on Friday, Sept 27 to see where "Peaches" ends up on newgazzi Vol 8.
