The Real Mr 3,000

With all due respect to the late Bernard Jeffrey McCullough, the real Mr 3000 in Milwaukee is, and always will be Robin Yount.  21 years ago today, a 16 year old kid took a break from his job as a soft pretzel vendor at County Stadium to witness Yount single off Jose Mesa for base hit #3000.  With tears running down my face, I turned around to give high-fives to Tim Van Vooren and John Anderson.  Still the greatest in-person moment from my life as a Brewers fan.  The Braun grand slam vs Pittsburgh in Sept of 2008 is a close 2nd, but I think this will always be #1.
