Fugazzi Grand (920-901)

920. "Sleight of Hand" (Eyes Adrift, Eyes Adrift, 2002)
Honestly, I'm not sure how I discovered this, but long after I gave away/threw away/lost this CD, this great song has stood the test of time (8 years).

919. "Superman" (R.E.M., Lifes Rich Pageant, 1986)
I love these early R.E.M. records, my favorite album artists of the 80's, by far.

918. "Rye Whiskey" (Punch Brothers, Antifogmatic, 2010)
The best thing I've seen on Leno in years.

917. "Doo Wop (That Thing)" (Lauryn Hill, the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, 1998)
Great voice, I really miss her. The female Jeff Mangum.

916. "Kids" (MGMT, Oracular Spectacular, 2007)
Did this make the list because Weezer covers it in concert? I'll never tell....

915. "Cold Dark World" (Weezer, The Red Album, 2008)
One of the better weezer songs of the last 5 years.

914. "Sure Hope You Mean It" (Raphael Saadiq, The Way I See It, 2008)
See #918 ( I watch Leno for the musical guests....favorites and discovering new stuff). Leno sucks.

913. "Party All the Time" (Eddie Murphy, How Could It Be, 1984)
This is not a novelty song. This is a great pop record.

912. "I Kissed A Girl" (Katy Perry, One of the Boys, 2008)
See #913.

911. "Crazy Party" (Fresh Cut Collective, Fresh Cut Collective, 2010)
My boy, Allen Russell, doing what Allen Russell does.

910. "Electric Avenue" (Eddy Grant, Road to Reparation, 1983)
Still sounds great today.

909. "Chaos" (MuteMath, MuteMath, 2005)
Maria, you gotta get me the long player.

908. "Do It Again" (Nada Surf, The Weight is a Gift, 2005)
Didn't like "Popular". Like this.

907. "Coldest Morning Light" (The Pharmacy, Weekend, 2010)
Awesome Paste album, been wearing this out lately.

906. "Cause of it All" (Don Buchholz, Blues Harp Sampler, 2007)
This is more than just throwing the family a bone, this is a great song.

905. "Streetlife Serenader" (Billy Joel, Songs in the Attic, 1981)
This album highlights great songs that didn't sound great on the original recordings, played live in 1981. This is one of the better cuts from that album.

904. "Father and Daughter" (Paul Simon, Surprise, 2006)
When Gracie was born, I made her a playlist that she still listens to today. This is one of the songs I chose.

903. "Moving Clocks Run Slow" (We Were Promised Jetpacks, These Four Walls, 2009)
Amber, coming through with some solid rock.

902. "Feeling Gravity's Pull" (R.E.M., Fables of the Reconstruction, 1985)
Metallica totally ripped this off !

901. "Me and a Gun" (Tori Amos, Little Earthquakes, 1992)
Haunting.
