Fugazzi Grand III : My Top 500 Albums (#318 and #317)

(#318, Band on the Run by Paul McCartney & Wings)

This is widely considered McCartney's best post-Beatles work.  It's not the highest ranking on my list, but I still consider it an all time great album, and I'm sure Adam Kleba would rank this pretty high on his list.  Simply put, Paul McCartney is one of the greatest songwriters of all time.  Certainly, his work with John Lennon is legendary, but he also proved to be pretty damn good on his own, as this album and many others have proved over the last 40 plus years.

This is a live version of "Let Me Roll It" from 1976 ...

(#317, Ben Folds Live by Ben Folds)

This is a great show, featuring Ben Folds on piano and no other musical accompaniment.  A nice combination of Ben Folds Five songs, his solo stuff, some rare songs, and an Elton John cover of Tiny Dancer.  Ben Folds is another one of my favorite songwriters, and this live album is fantastic.

This is "Silver Street" ...
